About our Australian Apprenticeships Centre

Central West Community College's network of Australian Apprenticeships Centres spread from the Central West through to the Hunter Valley and North Coast of NSW.

Each year we assist over 6,000 employers and their apprentices to access government incentives and training available through Australian Apprenticeships.

Our Australian Apprenticeships Centre provides:

  • Responsive and flexible services tailored to meet the needs of the workplace
  • Free on site consultations to assess employer requirements
  • Advice on implementation of a traineeship or apprenticeship strategy in the workplace
  • Management of the administration processes to sign up a trainee or apprentice
  • Support and mentoring for trainees and apprentices
  • Advice on the financial incentives available through the Australian Apprenticeships system
  • Accurate advice and ongoing support
  • Partnership with Group Training, Job Network and Registered Training Organisations to streamline the services offered
  • An excellent understanding of the national training system

One of our experienced staff will arrange a time to visit you and explain how you can benefit from the Australian Apprenticeship System

Step 3
We can refer you to other organisations such as Group Training and Job Network agencies to assist you to recruit your apprentice or trainee.

Step 4
We offer streamlined support to complete the paperwork.

Step 5
We provide information on registered Training Organisations who will support your apprentice or trainee to achieve a national training qualification.

Step 6
We ensure your finance incentives are paid on time.

Step 7
We provide solutions and regular support through to completion of the apprenticeship or traineeship.
