Some of the benefits College staff enjoy:

Salary packaging - due to the College having Public Benevolent Institutional status, we are able to offer permanent employees access to salary packaging. This results in tax free benefits for staff who choose to package a portion of their salary. Some College positions also have a vehicle included in the package which staff can opt to use for work and private usage. As part of your package the College includes a Group Salary Continuance plan (Income Protection) for eligible employees.

Probation - period of 6 months. New staff are supported by the New Employee Support Tracking (NEST) facilitated by HR. A uniform voucher is provided at the 3 month mark. ($100 for fulltime staff, pro-rata for part-time staff).

Reward and recognition - we have a structured performance management system. Achieving your workplan gives you eligibility for annual pay rises.  The College also has a Performance Pay Bonus policy.

Leave entitlements - All fulltime employees are entitled to 5 weeks annual leave (part-time employees pro-rata). Employees also have once a year option of cashing out a portion of annual leave accrued. Employees can also access 6 weeks paid parental leave and study leave (after 12 months continuous service), community service, compassionate, and 12 days per year sick/carers leave. There is an Accrued Day Off program for all fulltime staff allowing one day off for every 19x8 hour days worked.

Learning and development - access to professional development and opportunities to act in other positions are available.
